System to distribute contract details, service level agreements and contact information.
The Customer Information Database was the first system created within the Uniter Intranet. 

Before the Intranet's creation, contract information used on a day-to-day basis (details about service levels, contact names and numbers, and account numbers etc.) was distributed in memos and held by those members of staff requiring it. Later, this information was pooled into a single document with updates distributed regularly. Eventually running to 80 A4 pages, it became unmanageable and a new solution was sought. The result was the creation of the Intranet, and the Customer Information database.

The Customer Information database held details about Major Account customers covering information such as Account Numbers, contact details, and service level agreements. Details could be updated by designated administrators or the specified Account Manager. The search functionality allowed all members of staff to quickly access and view the details held.
